A shell collector for decades, I also create seashell busts, topiaries and wall brackets. I’m always looking for burnt bamboo, old baskets, vintage books about Florida and the Caribbean. I won’t pass up a beautiful vintage lamp, a souvenir seashell box, or a charming side chair or accent table

It’s all about the hunt! I’ve been a collector and “decorator” since my teenage years. My favorite gifts have always been art and furniture. Several years ago I enrolled in a painting class and fell in love with acrylics. I now sell my own art in my booth at Chesterdale’s.
Along with my husband and daughters, I’ve lived all over the country. Wherever we lived, my first order of business was seeking out antique shops, flea markets, and thrift stores. Finally we settled in our favorite place-Naples, Florida. Naples has all of these shops in spades, but Chesterdale’s is, by far, the best among them. I started as a frequent shopper, but soon became a vendor. My fellow vendors are awe inspiring creatives. It never seems like going to work.
